To imbibe the social service attitude in our students towards the elderly people, on 17th October 2022 Monday the DAVPPS students of grade 6 to 10th visited an old age home Vanprastha Vridhjan Sewa Sadan (Charitable Old Age Home) with the good intentions of spending quality time with them and lessen the burden of their isolation. There our students also contributed with the grocery items.

The inmates were very hospitable and friendly and they welcomed the children with their beautiful smile and open arms. We were able to make out that they were delighted to have us there. The children realised that love for their family particularly their grandparents has grown stronger and deeper.

Takeaway from the visit: Children should not feel the need to send their Parents/ Grandparents to Old Age Home.
