Our school observed the Swachhta Pakhwada from September 1 to 15, as directed by CBSE with great zeal and enthusiasm.” Cleanliness is next to Godliness” is the widespread proverb which means maintenance of cleanliness leads a person towards goodness and humanity. We at DAV Police Public School believe in that Cleanliness is not the matter of instinct; it is a matter of education , and like most great things , you must cultivate a flavor for them.

For the mass participation of students across all the Grades in this fortnight – long program various Swachhta activities are being planned. Students took Oath on ” Swachhata Shapath Day”. Our Respected Principal Mrs. Hema Arora guided and directed students about the importance of cleanliness of the surroundings and also making others aware and to be part of this drive and follow cleanliness and hygiene practices.

On ” Swachhata Awareness Day” , speech in Hindi and English was delivered by the students making everyone aware about ” Swachhata”. The students included everything from importance to awareness and participation of all to truly transform Swachh Bharat into a citizen’s movement.
