CYBERCRIME SESSION at DAV POLICE PUBLIC SCHOOL FARIDABAD.
On 07.10.2022 under NCSAM2022 we had a wonderful awareness session on Cybercrime by Shri Satish Kumar, SHO and Shri Pramod Kumar, SI, Cyber Crime, Haryana Police, Faridabad.
They briefly discussed DO NOT of the online.
Here is the takeaway of the session.
1. DO NOT indulge in greed (i.e. online job, extra income, multiplying the money etc.)
2. DO NOT share OTP and Card details like CVV, Card no, account no, user id, password etc.
3. DO NOT click on the links received on message / WhatsApp / email etc. until 100% sure about it.
4. DO NOT download Apps from untrusted sources & links.
5. DO NOT download unnecessary Apps.
6. DO NOT respond Unnecessary messages / WhatsApp messages / Voice calls / Video calls / emails.
7. DO NOT activate international transaction by default.
8. DO NOT activate Aadhaar Enabled Payment System by default.
9. DO NOT trap in honeytrap and do not pay
10. QR code is used only for making Payment not to receive payment
A brief scenario’s of Cybercrimes were discussed and also it was advised in case of any Cybercrime Please register complain in Cybercrime cell on-call 1930 or https://cybercrime.gov.in
or in local police station.
